Forgot to post this last weekend, was traveling and took a break from my adventures, will be back to making plushies (which is still closed i have a lot to do now that i have all of my materials)

i have never read your fic in my life nor do i know anything about it. but every time i see "soldiers metal: revolution" on ao3 i read the title as like. a little jingle. sooilders metal rrrrevolution! goes so hard tbh
I also titled it that way when I was younger and worked on the original version of it on Fanficiton.Net back in 2016/2014ish when I originally began writing it. The idea was basically centered around exploring Meta Knight’s heart and what’s beneath his metal—beneath his armor, his mask and all he puts up on the world.
The rewrite was encouraged by my friends when I got back into Kirby and they urged me to incorporate my goofy OCs so I did that too.

I promise it’s not as intimidating as it looks. Most of the length is thanks to dialogue from many characters and me reminding the reader of silly details they might have forgotten since I sprinkle so much foreshadowing everywhere.

Don’t feel bad about not going through with what was planned and just enjoy your life. I mean a reader can’t be the only one enjoying their life haha. oh! and I’m looking forward to see how this all ends and any other small bits of the aftermath! It’s a bit sad but honestly it was fun for what it was, but sadly my energy and capacity for things is just not getting better and I’ve been warned and suspected it wasn’t ever going to, but I gave it a good ol’ shot and got pretty dang far! I would like to dial back so I can do more other things too.
I hope to give a good finale even if it’s not the one that was planned, but I think you guys’ll like what I have in mind. Plus I’ll have some notes and deleted bits/concepts in a bonus chap for you guys to enjoy ideas from. :>

Also really random but when I saw dark vald and Mir orion interact I thought "discord mod and his kitten" LMAO it way the way dark vald spoke to Mir orion that made the connection for me
Basically in my AU all the Mirrors/reflection just call each other by their names but the “Lights” or originals refer to them as Shadow and Dark based on their behavior and how bad/messed up they are. If they’re off the deep end, they are called “Dark.” If they’re salvageable and just small traits they can work on, they’re “Shadows.” Technically they all start as Shadows and can progressively get worse if their other selves suck at self-care or get into toxic thought patterns that just won’t leave.
In other words, they need therapy the most.
And yes, Orion Knight does have some nasty thoughts as his Dark Self showed, but DMK also demonstrated that too in his own rant. If a character sometimes contemplates darker things, their other self might act on it. It’s just the Mirror Selves’ lives are attached to the originals so that leads to a whole other dark mess.
Their darker traits reflect in their reflected relationships as well, Vlad’s more manipulative side happily taking advantage of Dark Orion’s vulnerabilities and self hatred, Dark Meta Knight exploiting Shadow Galacta’s own insecurities and love-bombing him when it’s convenient or pretending to ‘not really’ be in love with him despite being in deep. That isn’t to say these twisted reflections don’t love each other, but they show off what our originals could become if they don’t watch themselves and some of their bad habits.
New chapter of asmr dropped :3 !!!!!!! Wow. Chapter was veryyyy fun . I enjoyed Mir orion in this so so much(Orion as well)(and Arthur seems to be very fine about metas friends)(also I love how while everything was happening galacta was just thinking “I wish mk called me nicknames…”
